Is Anyone Else Having Trouble Following My New Blog?

I just received a report that someone has clicked “Follow” on my new blog multiple times and yet is still unable to follow my new blog. Is anyone else having issues following it? Does anyone have suggestions as to what I or others can do to fix the situation?

By the way, I just posted my the next installment of “Legacy” at Imaginings of a Grateful Man at http://imaginingsofagratefulman.com/

Legacy

I apologize that I’m barraging you with so many announcements so close together, but since two more books will be released shortly, I thought I better tell you about a different project now.

I’ve begun writing my first fictional short story for adults. It’s title is Legacy.

While much of my fictional work will have dark elements, characters facing much adversity and many challenges, I hope readers experience truth and kindness in all that I write, and that it reminds them of the greatness and goodness within themselves and others.

As I don’t want to confuse readers of this blog for non-fiction by adding fiction to it, I’ve created a site for those who’d like to follow my adventures and misadventures in writing fictional short stories.

You’re warmly invited to check out that blog, which I’ve named “Imaginings of a Grateful Man”:

My First Non-Fiction Book For Adults Has Just Been Released

Or, you could just go to Amazon.com and type “Russ Towne” in the search field to see all my books and hear several of my songs.

“From the Heart of a Grateful Man” is focused on Relationships, Family, and Parenting. It shares many stories of my adventures and misadventures dealing with all three, and what I’ve learned along the way.

Russ

To Do As Many Things As We Can

My Beloved and I are big fans of actress Judi Dench. We have watched the popular British sitcom “As Time Goes By” so many times that we practically have memorized the lines.

I just read that today is her birthday and she is 79 years old.

The article included a quote from her that I like and wanted to share with you:

“I think it’s our business to do as many things as we can.” –Judi Dench

May she remain in “business” doing as many things as she can for a long, long time!

A Well-Earned Rest and Glorious Vista

“I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can only rest for a moment, for with freedom come responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not ended.” ― Nelson Mandela (Source: Nancy Lynn McKinley via Ute Lark)

It is now up to those who are still among the living in this realm to remain on the trail that Nelson Mandela so brilliantly blazed, and keep walking. He has achieved great things and deserves his rest. May he never stop enjoying the glorious vista that surrounds him.

PS: My focus is on the message, not the product. I don’t care one way or another about the latter. But the former is a powerful reminder that I believe is worth hearing and sharing.

Here’s to Seers of the Invisible

Some of my worst memories became some of my best when a person saw my sadness and loneliness while everyone else around me seemed not to notice that I was even there. At times the person wasn’t known to me, but friend or stranger, they made a world of difference at critical moments in my life.

Here’s to the Seers of the Invisible.

May I be wise and kind enough to be one of them.
