As the scheduled birth of his younger sister is now less than two months away, our grandson Thomas announced he is having difficulty choosing whether she should be named “Princess Leia” or “Dreami.” (The latter is the name of the kind dragon in my current children’s book project.)
I have a feeling Thomas’ parents have other names in mind.
With Love,
Russ

Uh Oh! 😀 😀
Me thinks she’ll not be given either name, except perhaps by Thomas when addressing his sister in the absence of his parents.
Russ
Too funny!
‘Dreami Princess Leia’
LOL! There ya go! I don’t think his parents would appreciate my making that suggestion to him. ;-D!
Russ
Uh-huh. Tough spot. 😀 😀
LOL! I’m staying out of the whole conversation.
Russ
Nice names… 🙂
I agree, and think they’re major compliments coming from a 4-year old boy.
Russ
I like Dreami
It works well for the name of a dragon too!
Russ
I like that he is invested in the naming of his sister. 🙂
Me too. Hopefully he won’t be disappointed if his parents go with a different choice.
Russ
I’m sure they will make him feel included in the end choice. 😉
I know they’ll try. He’s already expressed disappointment that they didn’t make a brother for him.
Russ
He doesn’t need to give up on hopes for a brother….yet. 🙂
LOL! Good point, Colleen!
Russ
i’d say that’s the ultimate compliment to you that he would choose your character’s name for his sister.
Hmmmm. Good point. I hadn’t thought about it that way. Thank you for your comment.
Russ
I’d go with Dreami, for sure! xo
Your comment led me to have mental picture of a beautiful baby girl with large, deep, dreamy eyes.
Russ
I bet that’s her, and she can’t wait to meet you. ❤
The feeling is mutual! Your comment brought a beaming smile to my face.
