Me too. Then again, I’d rather learn far more from the mistakes of others than have to make them all myself to learn anything!

“Success is liking yourself,
liking what your do,
and liking how you do it.”
–Maya Angelou
That’s sounds like a pretty decent definition to me, as I believe that to do those things, one’s thoughts, words, and actions will be aligned with their heart and spirit.

I noticed that some of my earlier songs can no longer can be listened to via the original posts so I’m re-posting them so newer readers have an opportunity to hear them. Hopefully for long-term readers you’ll enjoy the opportunity to hear them again.
Here is “Eight Lanes Of Danger”. Co-writer: Denis Loiseau.

Hold On, Pain Ends.
I like this easy way to remember that when bad things happen, this too shall pass.

Here is my latest song, “Nature’s Symphony”. I wrote the lyric and Kevin Harris did the rest.

Some folks say there’s too much silence
When out in the country
If only they could hear
All the sounds that inspire me
The leaves on each tree do their own little dance
As they sway to every tune
When darkness falls the owls join in
And sing their love song to the moon
And sunrise brings out the best in birds
As they begin their own unique songs
Except the Mockingbird who knows them all
And simply sings along
From the music of each waterfall
To the tinkle of each stream
Each drop of rain does its part
As it circles ‘round again
All come together in a wondrous way
To sing and play for me
I’m enchanted by the forest choir
And Nature’s symphony.
In every note of music
In each whisper of the wind
When I’m away from the country
I can’t wait to get back again.
