A rodent got into a wall of our tiny old home and died shortly before our visitors arrived. The stink is most unpleasant in our guest’s bedroom, our bathroom, and the bedroom where my Beloved and I sleep.
The drain of our only bathtub/shower got clogged. It was not something that a liquid drain unclogged could fix. Or adult son (who is quite a good handyman) went under the house to clean out the trap and the 65-ish year old pipe broke off in his hands.
So, it was off to our local home repairs and supplies store for the second time in the first two days of their visit.
I wonder what surprises tomorrow will bring! Stay tuned…
With Love,
Russ
glad it all turned out okay, good thing he was there visiting…. )
Yes indeed, Beth.
Russ
Perfect timing 🙂 Though I think it would be fair now to let your visit be home repair free. 😉
I hope the universe has the same sense of fairness that you do, Colleen, though I wouldn’t bet my life on it.
Russ
I hope the universe has been kinder. Hope the camping ‘trip’ out back went problem free. And memories were created for everyone.
Thank you, Colleen. The campout was a lot of fun. I plan to create a post when I can come up for air.
Russ
We will wait patiently Russ. 🙂 You have better things going on right now.
This is turning into quite the adventure…a story in the making, so to speak! 😀
At a minimum it’s lives being made. Perhaps stories based on these moments will indeed come later, Mrs. P.

Day 3 let us know. Glad it could be fixed with help of your visitors.
We’ve run into some glitches so short showers are followed by bailing before the next bather can begin the cycle once again. “Take a number. Make it quick. And bail until dry. Next!” LOL!
Russ
Bloody hell, what rotten luck
LOL! Oh well, rotten luck helps to keep a balance in the universe.
