About russtowne
I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.
It’s an awesome idea Russ! ❤
Diana xo
I agree, Diana. It’s such an awesome idea that I plan to attempt to find out how to be a volunteer set of eyes via the app.
A.W.E.some. What WILL they think of next. 🙂
I hope and believe that what they’ll think of next is an automated version of this app so the user doesn’t need to wait for a volunteer to be available before they can obtain the blind person can get they info they need. Then hopefully eye/vision replication technology and more eye transplants. I believe over time that solutions for all or nearly all forms of blindness will be developed.
Something to look forward to, Russ. All kinds of wonderful discoveries are happening faster these days. ❤
While it’s indeed wonderful, the discoveries can’t happen too fast for me. I’m not getting any younger, and am likely to need many of them much sooner than I’d prefer!
In a lighter tone, what was that saying mothers used to tell us?
“Hurry, hurry never gets.”
I understand what you’re saying, Russ, I supposed we must wait until the discoveries are made.
I’ll try to hang in there ’til they do! ;-D!
😀 😀 Happy Valentines, Russ.
That is brilliant! Russ, hope you are well! Hugs !
It is indeed. I hope that you too are well. Hugs to you, Ute!
what a fantastic and giving idea, russ –
Hi, Beth. I too love this idea and plan to attempt to get the details about being a volunteer set of eyes today.
This is a really good example of how technology can be such a positive step forward… Diane
I agree, Diane. Technology can be a wonderful thing in loving hands.
