I look forward to my visit to Quimby Middle School this afternoon to talk with students who are writing a novel this month for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). I love meeting fellow writers and answering questions they may have about every aspect of writing and self-publishing.
With love,
Russ

About russtowne
I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.
Hi Russ! Enjoy your visit with the kids at school discussing NaNoWri!
I’m participating in that event too and wow! Nice to have you with us and thanks for all your support, books, blogs, etc!
Thank you! I love working with and learning from children and young adults. They’re fun!
One other thing Russ, I hired a literary atty to help with agreements/contracts that I have received for my children’s manuscript. Yea!!! This part of the “business” of writing is new and at times a bit overwhelming for me, but one day at a time. All a part of learning.
Good luck with your children’s manuscript. I hope you enjoy the adventure!
Good for you, Russ. Reaching out to help others! It’s so YOU!!! ❤
Thank you for your kind comment, Jan. It was no sacrifice. I love interacting with students.
that’s so great that they are doing that. your support and experience will be much appreciated by them, i’m quite sure –
Thank you, Beth. I had a great time and hope they did too.
Based on my knowledge of how you helped me to become published, you are sure to be a valuable asset to the students. Kudos for all you do to help others!
Thank you, Mrs P. It is my pleasure!
The students will love you Russ, have fun!
Thank you, Ute.
