I Love How Young Children Think

On a recent FaceTime call with our younger son Brian’s family in Maryland, I heard something that brought a chuckle to me and I wanted to share it with you:

When one of the four-year-old twins saw a fuzzy caterpillar he exclaimed, “Look at the whiskers on his back!”

I love how young children think.

With love,

Russ

  1. ah yes and you must write down what they say at the time. I used to think I would remember it always but alas…

I know what you mean. Too often I think I’ll remember something humorous or heart-warming that they say only to find it has evaporated from my memory like morning dew on a hot summer day.

Me too, Russ – that is so cute!
