Volcanic Birthday

My Beloved chose to celebrate her birthday a few days early at a nearby Japanese steak house. The reason for the venue? Our grandson Thomas had been there once before and loved seeing “the Volcano” the chef made out of an onion and hot oil! I love the expressions on his and his Mama’s face as they celebrate the erupting volcano. The chef even made a second volcano,  this time including spewing “Lava” by adding soy sauce to the ingredients.

Also pictured is our daughter Stephanie and her boyfriend Dan. At the the end of the table were our son Ben, his wife Erika, and Thomas’ 4-month old sister Riley, but sadly the photo I took of them didn’t come out.

A great time was had by all!

With Love,

Russ
