I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979.     I read this story earlier. I wish more people were like this lovely woman who helped a total stranger. That’s the true meaning of character, helping another person without expecting anything in return.

      I believe more people are like this woman and that only a small fraction of the love in action is ever reported. I don’t blame the media because if all the good news and kindness stories were reported, there would be so many that they would stop being “news”. Thank you for your comment.
