Final Update on My Beloved’s Leg

After over two weeks with her left leg above her heart, My Beloved’s leg has healed to the point where she can walk on it without  much discomfort (versus excruciating pain just a few days ago.) She is up and practically running around. Heidi normally only has two speeds, blazingly-fast or stopped, and she often forgets the latter.

The wound doctor today said the damage to the leg was so extensive that it may take a year to fully heal, but there is a decent chance she won’t have permanent scarring. Heidi plans to return to work on Monday.

She asked me to convey her gratitude to all of you for your prayers, calls, cards, kind messages, and good wishes. Thank you!

With love,

Russ

That’s great news but I am so sorry it will take such a long time for her leg to fully heal. I will continue to send prayers and thoughts to you both.
