Speechless, indeed. Tears too. Gerdi may have lost her health–and perhaps even her life by now–but she is blessed with good friends.

    I am glad it resonated with you as well. It was a great story. It reminded me of when my hubby shaved my head. Another male teacher at the school where I taught shaved his head as well (he was balding, but still, how nice) and still sports his ‘do. Of course, he looks great bald. I prefer myself with a bit of hair nowadays. 🙂
