Speechless, indeed. Tears too. Gerdi may have lost her health–and perhaps even her life by now–but she is blessed with good friends.

Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979.         I am glad it resonated with you as well. It was a great story. It reminded me of when my hubby shaved my head. Another male teacher at the school where I taught shaved his head as well (he was balding, but still, how nice) and still sports his ‘do. Of course, he looks great bald. I prefer myself with a bit of hair nowadays. 🙂
