I love reading about fairly simple and often easy and inexpensive solutions to what at first appear to be major problems. Below is a link to an example. While I doubt that this program is the only reason for the huge increase in the number of babies that have been saved, I believe it is likely to have played a significant role.

About russtowne
I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.
Very interesting, I would take one too. Mine slept in a washing basket for a while… 🙂
(SMILE!)
I was lucky that I had friends who had children and they gave me their clothes and loaned me a bassinet and later high chair. I was so broke that I cleaned my midwife’s house in lieu of payment for prenatal and birthing care. I think this is a wonderful idea!
I see what you mean, Mrs. P, and can relate a little too well. When My Beloved and I we had our first child we didn’t have a bed for she and I to sleep in. We made some great memories, though.
Thank you for your interesting comment!
