Climbing The World’s Tallest Tree

As many of you know, I love redwood trees and live in redwood country. I love their beauty and magnificence. It is a spriritual thing to me to be among such ancient and towering living things which provide homes and shelter to huge numbers of forest creatures.

I just read an article and watched a video about the world’s tallest living plant, and a researcher who climbed to the top of it to measure and confirm its place on the record books. It fascinated me and I thought it may fascinate some of you, too.

It was part of a post in “Now I Know” (That’s Half The Battle!) by Dan Lewis, a site I follow and greatly enjoy:

OK… I’m doing something wrong here. I’ve copied and pasted both links into the search bar but get no where in particular… What am I doing wrong?

Sorry, Koji. I have no idea–though odds are that the issue is at my end instead of yours. I try to insert links in ways that readers can simply click on the link but even though I believe I’m doing everything EXACTLY the same most of the time, only about 1 in 5–or worse–actually works as a one-click action, the rest take the cut-and-paste into the browse baloney. I aplogize. If I knew how to fix it I would for my readers’ sake and my own. Frustrating for all concerned.

Everyone: Are you experiencing the issues that Koji is with these links even when you cut-and-paste them into a browser?

      I apologize for the hassle!
