In Remembrance

A friend and his two sons were part of a group of 250 Boy Scouts who devoted part of their day at local the national cemetary today to plant little flags on the graves of the many men and women who died so that our nation could survive.

Thank you Dave, Ryan, and John, and to all of the rest of the Boy Scouts aroud the country who take the time to honor and remember those who gave all in service to our country.

And thank you to everyone around the world who take time to give thanks in your own way for those who sacrifice for your country. May future such sacrifices never be in vain and may they buy humanity time to find ways to create a fair and lasting justice for all. As I believe it is only when fairness and justice for everyone globally is achieved that there will be any hope for a lasting peace.

Finally, to all–in uniform or out–who risked everything for others, a heart-felt thank you!

  1. Glad to have done so, Russ. I want my boys to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and Veterans Day, not just the time off from school, BBQs, and pool parties.
