A Great Day at the Office

Yesterday our daughter Stephanie helped to rescue a fawn and help reunite it with its mother. She then got to hold a recently born goat kid. Stephanie loves her job and the perks that come with it as a heavy equipment operator and maintenance mechanic at Mid-Peninsula Open Space District. She lives on-site at the park and preserve.

With love and gratitude,

Russ

I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.

That is an office day I really like. What a wonderful job she does.

Thank you for your kind comment. She loves working outside in the fresh air, beautiful sights, and relaxing sounds of nature. An office job would suffocate her. I’m grateful she found a role she likes in a location that suits her so well.

  2. What bloody nice photos and a good office day

To say I’m envious would be an understatement! 😃

I know what you mean. And she gets to live among all the animals inside Rancho San Antonio park and work among all the animals in the entire Mid-Peninsula Open Space District. I think that is hundreds of miles of nature, maybe many hundreds of miles.
