Stunning Beauties

I promise to soon post about something other than flowers but these day-brighteners grabbed my attention and I wanted to share them with you.

With love and gratitude,

I am in awe of your snow-capped peaks and rugged landscapes. They have a raw magnificence. May your area soon also begin featuring floral fragrant colorful delicate beauties.

Hi, Heatherlee! It’s good to hear from you. I like how you think of flowers being like relatives that visit once per year. Some certainly stay longer than others!

Your tall Iris is stunning and does help to brighten your day. Have you thought of photography as a hobby? Your photos are in good focus and composition.

Thank you, Heather. I appreciate your kind comment. I think nature, the beauty of the flowers themselves, and my iPhone deserve most of the credit for how the photos turn out. I do enjoy capturing and sharing the beauty of flowers before their awesome glory withers away.

    Hi Russ,

It looks like you found a new hobby; photography. You have some beautiful photos. You may remember a friend of mine, Scott Harris. He wrote some Westerns (I think I may have sent you one of his books). Anyhow, he started taking wildlife photos and took it pretty seriously. He’s earned several awards and does beautiful work. You may find some inspiration in his work.

I hope you’re doing well and miss your Facebook posts.
    Have a great day.

    Dennis

Hi, Denis. It’s great to hear from you. Thank you for your kind comment about my photos and your suggestion about Scott Harris’ photography. As for Facebook: my account was hacked and the hacker sent out some very bad stuff in my name. Facebook locked me out of my account and gave me no way to prove that I was the rightful owner of the account I’d spent many years building. After all those years of being a good contributor to their content and to their bottom line they swept me away without a thought.
