Choices

I just read an article and watched a short video that touched me deeply. It is a commercial, but one which highlights positive attributes of the human condition and spirit, kindness, compassion, love, and choices. I think you’ll be touched by it too, and I’ve included a link to it above. It’s subtitled and from India. Choices

About russtowne

I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.

That broke my heart. That a child should have to suffer first with the disfiguring disease and second the reactions of unfeeling people. The world is a better place that has people like her adoptive parents in it.

God bless her and her wonderful, adoptive parents. It’s heartwarming to see these kinds of stories. We can only pray that indeed, they have a happily ever after continuation. Not all adoptions are made in heaven!

Yes, it appears that some couples feel that by having a baby or adopting a child they can save a troubled marriage, and too often adding another family member just speeds its demise, stranding the the child. I believe this couple have had her for a lot of years so they’re more likely to go the distance with her.
