Lines I Love

The gist of a couple of lines I love from The Rifleman television show:

Lucas McCane to his son: “I guess I’ve been under-sighting you, Mark. I tried to protect my boy and didn’t realize he was a man.”

I remember that series so vividly. The father/son relationship was a wonderful example of how it should be.

  I’ve started collecting the series via DVD and am binge-watching the first forty episodes 3-5 at a time. The show began airing soon after I was born so I’ve never seen many of the episodes. I enjoy experiencing the story from its beginning.
