I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979.     I’m with you, Russ. Facing the fears and creating anyway. I find this quote inspiring and very human:

    Kudos to Georgia O’Keeffe! I’ve let fear keep me from doing many things I’ve wanted to do throughout my life. Or perhaps I just just didn’t want to do those things badly enough, though that sounds a bit like “sour grapes” rationalizing to me. In more recent years, as my time remaining on this earthly plane continues to shrink, I have grown, and have won my fight with fear far more often than it has conquered me.
