That sounds wise to me. It can also add to the adventure and sweetness of life to sing and write songs, make poetry, and create pictures. There is love in appreciation and creation, and our lives and the world are enhanced in their presence.
With Love,

About russtowne
I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.
Words to build a good life on. 🙂
I agree, Tess. So, far it’s working out well for me. (Of course the same could be said by the person 49 floors below where they jumped from a 50-story building.) ;-D!

I love it, Jan. Did you write it? If so, may I share it with readers (with full attribution of course.)

Yes and yes!
you are so right, russ –
Thank you, Beth. Based on his quote it appears that Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was also right.

Agreed a thought provoking quote
Hi Russ,
LOL! Great minds think alike… See my post: http://kmabarrett.wordpress.com/2010/08/25/every-day-at-least/
I added “eat a tasty mean and go for a walk”.

I see what you mean, Kevin. Soul Gatherings (that I reblogged from) and you display a lot of evidence of having great minds.
