Many of you know I write children’s books. To date, I’ve written and published eight, with several more in the works. Many more would have been written and published by now except for the fact that it costs me several hundred dollars for each one I publish. Young children love colorful animated characters, and though I can create them in my mind, on my best day I might be able to draw a stick person or two, so I pay an illustrator for that crucial piece. Fortunately for me and readers of these books, a very talented man named Josh McGill illustrated them.
I’ve been looking for ways to help others discover and have a piece of the magic of the characters in my children’s books, and recently discovered Cafepress.com. Now, many of the characters from the books have are being featured on a wide variety of clothes, clocks, hats, drinking glasses, and home accessaries. If you and/or your children or other friends or family members have a favorite character, you can now enjoy them on and in things beyond the books. They also make great gifts.
