About russtowne
I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.
Thanks for spreading the smiles Russ – Glad you enjoyed them 😀

I join all the others in a good laugh. I can’t pick my favourite funnie, they all tickled.
We know laughter is good for us, now even science has found why.:)
I’m glad they tickled your funny bone, Mirja. Thank you for letting me know.

Made my evening, Russ, after reading heavy WWII stuff. And the handbag one was hilarious! I can see Tim Conway and Harvey Korman having one of their “cracking themselves up” routines doing a skit on this!
Thank you, Koji. Your last sentence cracked me up as a I remember how they’d get to laughing so hard they’d lose their breath, and just looking at each other trying to get a line out made them laugh even harder, so couldn’t say their lines for a long time. Or they’d ad-lib something hilarious. Then watching Carol trying to keep to the script and finally losing it herself. Just typing these words is bringing up great memories and making laugh out loud.
