Great Storytelling and Poetry

I learned in songwriting that a great lyric is a story that grabs the listener and makes them laugh, cry (tears of joy or sadness), moves them (possibly literally to the point of dancing), or be inspires to take action or think differently in some way. I believe great stories and poetry do the same. They create an emotional reaction and connection, and inspire hope.

I’d love to experience more such stories and poetry from you, my friends, as they reveal more of the greatness and goodness of your heart and spirit to me.

With Love,
Russ

Are you meaning you are wanting more submissions for your book? Diane

Certainly, at least until May 31. I’ll decide shortly after that presentation deadline as to whether there is still space available for stories or poetry in the three anthologies. Thank you for asking for requesting clarification.

I’ve resisted the temptation so far, beth, but I’d love to experience yours. In truth, I don’t know why I’ve resisted. They can be beautiful and wonderful.
