This video touched me deeply.
With Love,

These kids have a message for a scared mom-to-be: “Don’t worry.”
The message was in response to a mother’s heartfelt email to the Italian Down syndrome advocacy group Coor Down. She sent it in February after learning that her child will be born with Down syndrome as well.
“I’m expecting a baby,” the mother wrote in the email. “I’ve discovered he has Down syndrome. I’m scared: What kind of life will my child have?”
The 15 kids assure her that he’ll be able to speak, go to school, rent, love and be happy. “Together we can make it possible,” the ad reads at the end.
Coor Down’s heartfelt message comes just in time for World Down Syndrome Day, which is observed on March 21 every year.

This is magical and wonderful and fills my heart.
That your heart is filled by such things is one of the many reasons I’m grateful that you are in my life, Mimi.

This is really lovely what a great answer for the mum to be. It made me cry with love!
I’m glad it resonated for you, too, my friend!

It is so difficult to think that at one time these beautiful children were just put into homes thinking they could not do anything… That is at least one way that our world is better…because we realize now just how special and how much they are capable of doing and being…. Diane
Good points, Diane, The world had gotten better and more caring in many ways.

I wish there were more messages like this on television. The world would be a way more tolerant and accepting place. Thanks for sharing this. Really inspiring.
Me too, my friend. So much of intolerance is due to ignorance. I believe that if the creators of television content increased the ratio of light to heat by even a little, it could have a profoundly positive effect on the world. Thank you for your kind comment, Jolyn.

I love that…”the ratio of light to heat”. So true.
