“Never regret. If it’s good, it’s wonderful. If it’s bad, it’s experience.” ~Victoria Holt

I love this quote and the mindset and wisdom behind it. It brought a smile to my face when I read it as the thought came to me that I’ve had a LOT of experience, but thankfully had a whole lot more WONDERFUL.
I believe that the “experience” has helped to make me a kinder, more empathetic, and grateful person, and the “wonderful” has filled my life with joy.
By the way, I’m FINALLY coming up for air. I’m nearly done traveling and doing the quarterly reports and letters, so you should see me beginning to show up more with comments and likes at your blog.
To all of those who faithfully kept reading my posts even during the times when I disappeared from the blogosphere for extended periods, I am grateful beyond measure. Thank YOU!
Love,
Russ
I love this quote and I’m glad you’re at the tail-end of your busy time. I hope you find some time to just be and relax.
xo
Thank you, Diana. Sometimes just experiencing the wonderful posts of you and others can be a way to just be and to relax. They are often heart-warming, spirit-lifting, mood enhancing, joy-inducing, laughter-stimulating, and smile-generating mental breaks. I miss you and the others when I need to put greater focus elsewhere for periods of time.
By the way, my most recent travel was with my Beloved, my older son, his wife and our grandson. We went to the snow country to see Thomas experience snow for the first time. It was terrific. He loved it. Snow balls, sliding down a gradual slope, and of course, tasting it! I think the latter was his favorite part. The kid eats EVERYTHING.

Great Quote.
life is not simple. Our lives are constantly changing, often to the good, and sometimes our perceptions of change challenge us, and make us feel bereft. In such situations, it’s difficult to keep on that path of self-knowledge and self-actualization
Have nice tour.
Thank you for your insights and comments. Life can indeed be a challenge. I’m glad there are so many opportunities to experience joy along the way. It’s also great to know that finding joy is a decision.
