Like a shy but beautiful young lady,
Spring is slowly revealing her glorious beauty
And vibrant spirit in ever-more-colorful ways
For all the world to see a little more each day.

Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.

  1. Oh that’s where spring is! I was looking for her here but can’t see past all the snow and poor visibility! Enjoy it my friend.

Good point. With you being in the southern hemisphere it would be starting to cool down about now. I once spent most of a December in Chile’ (to pick up our adopted daughter from there) and they were experiencing their normal summer heat at the time.

Like your friend, Diana, I have been looking for the signs of spring in all the wrong places. They aren’t here in Montana. I see you have a corner on them where you are. Lucky you! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

Thank you, Jan. This is a time of year that I feel especially blessed to live here. May Spring arrive soon for you, too.

We came home from our week in CA to discover that spring finally HAS arrived in Montana! The fruitless plum trees are in bloom and the lilacs are prettier than they have been for three or four years! Hooray! Thanks for your good wishes. They’ve been answered.

  5. Ahhh…I felt the warm delight of spring from your beautiful photos and poem Russ! We are completely covered in white here – thank you for the wonderful treat to see so much life blossoming where you are! Enjoy! Sharon

Thank you for your kind comments, Sharon. I enjoy your beautiful photos of the glories of Spring and look forward to your next batch of shots when Winter finally releases his cold grip on the landscape where you live.
