Free Hugs

A dear relative sent this to me and I wwanted to share the hugs with you. I recommend having the volume turned up a bit.

I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.

    I watched this video, listened this the song (one of my favorites) and it brought tears. To see the resistance from many and the melting of others……amazing. Sometimes that’s all we really need. A hug from a caring soul. Thanks for that, friend. Hugs to you, too ♥

      Thank you, Paula. Yes, it was interesting to see the initial resistence, and then the first brave souls who took a risk. That opened up the floodgates of hugs.

      I agree that few things are better or more comforting than a hug from a caring soul. Thank you for being a caring soul and sending hugs my way, and for being my friend!

    Loved the video! Thanks for posting the link. I used to give a “Hug License” to kids who came to my office when I was an elementary school principal. There’s nothing like a hug to drive away your tears and fears and make you feel a whole lot better!!
