Flash-Mob of Heroes: “We’re Not Going To Leave You Here To Burn!”

I just read of a woman and her disabled sister who were trapped in their vehicle after a bad accident. It caught fire and neither could get out.

Fortunately for them, some people saw the accident, and flagged down truckers and other motorists, and a flash-mob of people risked their lives to try to save the women.

The driver was trapped behind the steering wheel in the wreckage and was panicking. The group of heroic strangers put their own lives at risk and yelled “We’re not going to leave you here to burn!”

People poured water from ice chests, and then garden hoses, and even a huge conrete mixer truck began pouring water all over the vehicle to try to keep the fire down as it crept toward the trpped driver.

The crowd was able to get the disabled sister out first, and then kept fighting to save the driver.

They eventually were able to pull her safely from the car.

It is reactions like this from a large group total strangers risking their lives and working together to help those in trouble that makes me optimistic in the future of humanity.
