I like collecting my favorite sayings and quotes and using them as reminders and affirmations as to important life lessons. I’m especially fond of ones that I believe are true in virtually all cases. I call them “Truisms”.
I plan to share some of my favorite quotes with you this week. They are some of the earliest quotes that I collected, and back in those days I collected them just for myself and so didn’t feel the need to document who coined the saying. I wish now that I had, but at least you’ll know that I didn’t create them. (I don’t want to claim credit for someone else’s creation.)
You’ve probably heard all or most of these before, but if you are like me you appreciate reminders regarding important life lessons. I sent one earlier today, so, here goes the second one this week:
‘Life might not be the party we’d hoped for, but while we’re here we might as well dance.’
BTW, I think I once heard it attributed to Eleanor Roosevelt, but don’t know one way or the other. I admire her and would be pleased to find out that she was indeed the one who said it.
