The Day My Wife Got Me Fired
My wife hardly ever swears. In fact, until then, I don’t think that I’d ever heard her say an expletive that would have raised eyebrows in a holy place, but apparently she was saving up the granddaddy of all swear words for just a moment as this.
The word exploded from her mouth followed quickly by the word “YOU!” and then she hung up.
The Day Girls Saved Me
They and I quickly did the math as we all came to our senses: Three of them and one of me. All four of us knew what was going to happen next and only three of us were going to enjoy it.
