I began work this morning on my first non-fiction book. It is titled “From the Heart of a Grateful Man”.
I love to set aggressive goals for myself and communicate them publicly. It keeps me honest. So, my goal is to be done with the first draft within two weeks from today and to have it published by December 6 (in time for the latter part of the holiday shopping season.)
With Love,
Russ
About russtowne
I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.
Yup! That’s pretty aggressive! Best of luck!
Thank you for your comment and kind wishes. May you always feel at home and welcome here.

Wow…you are one speedy author! 🙂
Thank you, Mrs. P. May the quality be as impressive as the speed at which it is written.

Good luck, Russ. May the muse be with you! 🙂
Thank you Lori! So far, it’s been with me all day and nearly all night, though I think I’ve hit the wall and I’m likely to be heading for bed while there is still an hour of two of darkness left. I’m tired but very pleased as to how much I’ve gotten done. I may be able to have the book laid out about one week before I planned,
And knowing you… you will do it … Diane
Thank you, dear friend.
