Thank you for sharing this moving story, Misifusa. When I saw that it was 22:21 minutes long, I hesitated to watch it, as like most others I have a lot to do today. I’d have missed something very special if I’d not decided to stop and experience all of the love, beauty, joy, and inspiration it contained. Zach Sobiech was a very special person indeed. As are his family and friends. There were so many magical moments crammed into this video, and so much to learn about life, living, and love. I have a natural affinity for Zach. Perhaps it is because we share some things in common. Early in the video I was surprised to see that Zach had a long scar on the side of his chest. I recognized it, as I have two similar scars–one on each side–from the surgeries I had a month apart for my collapsed lungs. The other is that we’re both songwriters. I love how he said that songwriting is a way of expressing himself without having to burden anyone. Thank you for the way you’ve made the world better by being in it, Zach. I have no doubt that your spirit lives on.

Meet Zach Sobiech
We are all shining stars in this world. Sometimes we don’t realize the impact we can make if we just let go and embrace who we are! Being a conduit of love, happiness and peace ~ sharing of ourselves ~ multiplies this gift to infinity and beyond. Last night I read about the passing of Zach and found the video below about him. If you have a few minutes, be inspired by his life and the way he spent his last days. Zach turned to music to remind his family of how much he loved them! Doesn’t it make you think about the legacy you leave behind?
