War No More

I think I’ve found a cure for war
So young men and women need die no more
If anyone must fight and die
Let’s make leaders answer their own battle cries
Instead of reasons to go to war
They’ll say, “This cause is not worth dying for
So let’s find ways to turn foes to friends.”
I believe that’s the way that wars will end.

I know one way to stop all wars. Send the politicians to fight instead of the poor soldiers. They would very quickly find another solution I am sure 🙂

Yes, talking tough is a lot easier when one can make someone else fight one’s wars. And wouldn’t it be great if soldiers could sue leaders who promise, “It will all over by Christmas” and then wars stretch on for year after bloody year.
