Awakening

This has certainly proven true for me. I used to dream a lot, and even made many of my dreams come true, but I became happiest than I’ve ever been when I began focusing less on dreaming and more on my heart and spirit. They have guided me like a North star guides a sailor or other traveler. Rather than reaching for the stars, I found myself already among a universe full of them.

I'm awed by the beauty of nature and the power of love and gratitude. Some of my favorite sensory experiences include waves crashing on rocky shores, waterways in ancient redwood and fern-filled forests, and rain. My wife and I have been married since 1979. We have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I manage a wealth management firm that I founded in 2003. My Beloved is a Special Education teacher for Kindergartners and First Graders. I'm a published author of approximately 60 books in a variety of genres for grownups and children.

      Thank you for your comment. I’m in a period of my life where it has all come together in a wonderful way. A great family life–including a grandson who is terrific–great friends, a profession that I’m good at where I get to do what I love the way I want to do it, and hobbies that keep me accessing my heart and spirit while hopefully having a positive impact on the lives of others. I am blessed in very many ways. You are one of those blessings. Thank you.
