No More Secrets/ No More Lies

You can’t even cover half the rent
And said by now you’d be back on your feet
You tell me that you’ve been working late
But that’s not what I’m hearing on the street
You’re seeing her again
Don’t tell me you’re just friends

Chorus
No More Secrets/No More Lies
No more looking like you’re surprised
There’s no truth in what you say and now you’re going to pay
No More Secrets/ No More Lies

All that stuff you moved into my house
I threw it in a pile in my back yard
You had all day to come and pick it up
And late last night I lit a big bonfire
Man you’ve got some nerve
Sneaking around with her

Chorus

You’ll find the joke’s on you
When she hears you’ve been playing her too

Chorus

No More Secrets/ No More Lies

Its like you read my thoughts! You seem to understand so much about this, such as you wrote the e book in it or something. I believe that you can do with some p.c. to power the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is wonderful blog. A great read. I’ll certainly be back.

Thank you, Jackie. You wrote, “I believe that you can do with some p.c. to power the message home a little bit,”. What do you mean by “p.c.” in this context?

  6. Hello, I check your blogs daily. Your story-telling style is awesome, keep up the good work!

  7. First of all I would like to say terrific blog!
I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing.
I have had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out how to
begin. Any ideas or hints? Cheers!

Thank you for your kind comment. As for how I clear my head prior to writing, I don’t think that is how it works for me. Typically I see, feel, or think of something I want to share, and I share it right away. I prefer not to wait, write drafts, etc. It rapidly flows and I sometimes have a challenge simply trying to capture it before it flows away. There are probably a lot of different ways people write or prepare to write. I suggest you try different things and find what feels best and most natural for you, and go with that method. I wish you much success–however you define it–in your writing, and may you experience lasting joy.
