Is the offer still available? Perhaps audio books is the way to go for me. What doi need to be able to play one…technically uninformed.

You can select from any of my more than twenty titles that have been formatted as audiobooks and you can find which ones they are by typing Russ Towne into the search field at Audible.com (or Amazon with some wading through of my titles to see which ones show an audiobook option.) Once you select the one you want, I’d send a promo code to you and a link to the site to use it at. You select where you want it (your laptop, smartphone, and perhaps other devices). Then a minute or two later you can go to audible.com and it will be in your “Library” ready to listen to. If it’s on your smartphone you may also be able to listen to it while driving if your car has that functionality.
