“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.”
– Carl Jung

This has certainly proven true for me. I used to dream a lot, and even made many of my dreams come true, but I became happiest than I’ve ever been when I began focusing less on dreaming and more on my heart and spirit. They have guided me like a North star guides a sailor or other traveler. Rather than reaching for the stars, I found myself already among a universe full of them.

I love the idea of focusing more on your heart and spirit- what a beautiful reminder. How are you do wise my friend?

Thank you for your comment. I’m in a period of my life where it has all come together in a wonderful way. A great family life–including a grandson who is terrific–great friends, a profession that I’m good at where I get to do what I love the way I want to do it, and hobbies that keep me accessing my heart and spirit while hopefully having a positive impact on the lives of others. I am blessed in very many ways. You are one of those blessings. Thank you.

It’s so true, Russ. I, too, have found that focusing on my heart and spirit has always brought me home.

  4. I love this – full of such wisdom and beauty.
