My Journey to Becoming My Mother
it seems like we continually agree. I wrote a very short post on this same subject some time ago
which consisted of:
The more you love, the more you can love.
The human heart can grow boundlessly large in its capacity to love.
We must only accept the dare.
I agree, Bill. Before I got to the last line of your comment I was nodding at what you wrote and said to myself, “If only we’re willing to take the risk.” Sounds like a very similar thought to your “We must only accept the dare.”

What a lovely saying
Thank you, Manty. It is indeed. Ms. Moore captured it well.

Thank you, my friend. I’m glad it was there for you. Having a great weekend. Saw our grandson last night and will see him again in about 20 minutes. Life is good! I hope your weekend is good and getting better!
Russ
Glad you enjoying your grandson. Grandparents are gift from God. No my great weekend is over. It’s Monday (late) evening in Copenhagen. ;D
Thank you! Oh, that’s right. I forgot. Normally Mondays are workdays in the U.S. too but today is a holiday here. Labor Day.

When my daughter was about 3 years old and a friend was leaving after having had dinner with us, I hugged my friend and told her I loved her. My daughter started to cry and said I thought you loved me with all your heart. I told her I did and that there was enough room in one’s heart to love lots of people with one’s whole heart. Thanks for your post and for reminding me of a special moment.
What a great story, Diana. Thank you for sharing it. I can see how your daughter thought she had lost something precious to her. I’m glad she has a wise mother who knew the perfect thing to say in that situation. She got your whole-hearted love and an important lesson.
Russ
Thanks for your kind encouragement Russ!
So true……………
Thank you, Joanne.
