Whole Universes of Life & Activity Inside Us

Be gentle with yourself. “You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. In the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.” – Max Ehrmann

This sounds like good advice to me. From what I’ve seen of the human body at microbiological levels, we literally have whole galaxies of activities swirling and whirling inside each of us. So I believe that we are indeed not only a child of the universe, our bodies contain whole universes of life and activity.

  1. Wow I thought I was the only one that ever thought that way! Atoms – with their nucleus (the sun) and electrons and protons (like planets and moons) revolving around the nucleus. And never mind all the parasites, germs and bacteria that live on and in our bodies and………
